A day reserved for celebrating all things literature-related, World Book Day 2018 falls on the 1st of March. On this day, you're encouraged to share your favourite books and give some new ones a read. For all you book worms out there in need of some inspiration, you're in for a treat... Authors Penny Joelson and Taran Matharu, two authors who are involved with this years World Book Day campaign, gave Am I Normal their list of best books for teens that fall under three of our featured website topics - Earning & Learning, Health, and Family & Friends.

Taran says:

'Health' - Finding Audrey by Sophie Kinsella

Penny says:

'Family & Friends' - Indigo Donut by Patrice Lawrence

Penny says:

"This is a story about friendship, family and identity. The main character’s Dad killed her Mum when she was very young and she has grown up in care. I think Patrice explores the issues sensitively and it’s a gripping read."
